Tournament Policies

1. Registration & Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required to secure a team’s position in the tournament.
  • Registrations are confirmed only once payment has been received.
  • Teams without completed payment may lose their spot to teams on the waiting list.

2. Withdrawal & Refund Policy

  • Teams withdrawing 14 days or more before the tournament start date are eligible for a refund minus a $50 administration fee.
  • No refunds will be provided for withdrawals made less than 14 days before the tournament.

3. Team Eligibility Policy

  • Teams must register players in the correct age group.
  • Proof of age or player identification may be requested at any time.
  • Any team found using ineligible players may face:
    • disqualification
    • forfeited matches
    • removal from future tournaments.

4. Match Day Behaviour Policy

  • Coaches, players and spectators are expected to show respect toward:
    • referees
    • opposition teams
    • tournament staff
    • facilities.
  • Abuse, discrimination, aggressive behaviour or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
  • Tournament organisers reserve the right to remove any individual or team from the event.

5. Referee Decision Policy

  • All referee decisions are final.
  • No protests regarding referee decisions will be accepted after matches.

6. Weather Policy

  • Matches may continue in wet weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by tournament officials.
  • Delays, schedule changes or shortened matches may occur due to weather conditions.
  • Refunds will not be issued due to weather interruptions once the tournament has commenced.

7. Liability Policy

  • Teams participate at their own risk.
  • The tournament organisers are not responsible for:
    • injuries
    • lost property
    • stolen items
    • personal damages.
  • Teams are encouraged to have appropriate insurance coverage.

8. Photography & Media Policy

  • By participating in the tournament, teams and players consent to:
    • photography
    • video recording
    • social media content
    • promotional material usage.
  • Media may be used for future tournament marketing purposes.

9. Schedule Changes Policy

  • The tournament organisers reserve the right to:
    • modify schedules
    • change venues
    • adjust match formats
    • combine divisions if required.

10. Late Arrival & Forfeit Policy

  • Teams must arrive at least 30 minutes before kick-off.
  • A grace period of 10 minutes may apply at the discretion of tournament officials.
  • Failure to attend may result in a forfeit.

11. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to uphold the values of:

  • respect
  • sportsmanship
  • inclusiveness
  • fair play.

The tournament aims to provide a positive environment for all players and families.
